Overview
The member and officer portal for the EMDI Cooperative Multipurpose Society Ltd, Akure: membership records, savings (including a separate Christmas savings scheme), loans, investments, dividends, account closure, reports and notifications.
The problem
Cooperative records kept in spreadsheets and ledgers make balances hard to trust, loan approvals slow and audits painful, and members cannot see their own positions.
Solution & implementation
A single append-only ledger from which every balance is derived, with maker–checker approval on money movements, role-based officer permissions, payroll batch uploads, and a self-service portal where members see their savings, loans and statements.
